  1. What is Skywave TV?

    Skywave TV is a brand new television entertainment service that offers viewers convenient access to a wide variety of digital-quality programming, such as entertainment, news, sports, movies, fashion and documentaries.

  2. How does the Skywave TV Direct-to-home system work?

    To receive Skywave TV signals, subscribers must acquire a dish antenna, a Digital Satellite Receiver (IRD) and a Smart Card. The Skywave system is available from your local satellite dealer.

  1. How many Channel Packages are available?

    Skywave TV offers the following Channel Packages to choose from:
    • Family Favourite (Basic Package)
    • Premium Sports
    • Premium Movies


  2. How can I get Skywave TV?

    Live in a multi level residential building:
    If you live in a residential building, you can check with our sales agents or call our Service Centre to find out if your building is equipped with a Skywave TV System. If the answer is yes, you can proceed to place your order follow the 1-2-3 Steps:

    Live in a house or have place to install a dish:
    If you live in a house or have a roof area with an unobstructed south view, then you can proceed to place your order follow the 1-2-3 Step:

    Skywave TV Installation:
    Step (1) Choose your package > Step (2) Make Installation Arrangement > Step (3) Place your order

    DIY Installation:
    Step (1) Choose your package > Step (2) Choose your Equipment > Step (3) Place your order

    * You can place your order (1) with sales agents, (2) call Customer Service Hotline, (3) Register On-line.


  3. How to activate the DTH service?

    * The service can be activated 2-4 hours after installation. Our Customer Service Team shall perform the activation as soon as they receive a completed Service Registration Form.

  4. Who will do the installation?

    * Upon receipt of your purchase, our Customer Service Team will call you to arrange an installation provided by our authorized installer.

  5. Is self-installation allowed?

    Yes, our authorized installer will provide you a Comprehensive Installation Guide. It is an easy job!

  6. How do I pay for the Service?

    You can make payment by:-
    • Credit Card Autopay.* It is the most convenience and efficiency method to settle your bill.
    • Prepaid Voucher Card.** The Prepaid Voucher Card is available at dealers.


  7. What is the size of the satellite dish antenna and the IRD decorder box?

    A small satellite dish antenna, only 35cm in diameter is required depending on the satellite signal strength of your area, while the set top decoder box is smaller than a DVD player.

  8. How many TV sets may I connect to the dish?

    You may have as many as four (4) TV sets connected to the dish if you purchase equivalent no. of Set Top Box (STB).

  9. May I have Skywave TV and my cable service at the same time?

    Yes, you can enjoy Skywave TV Service while you keep your existing cable service.

  10. Do you have a TV guide for Skywave Service?

    The decoder box has an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) which provides information on the current and upcoming programs for all channels, 24 hours a day. Or, just click here to view the TV guide in our website.

  11. How do I prevent children from watching inappropriate channels?

    You can lock out specific channels from your Electronic Program Guide. This prevents anyone from viewing the programming or accessing the program information. Once the lock feature is activated, the system will require a 4-digit PIN number that you create to access any program that contains the ratings that you have locked out. (See Set Top Box manual)

  12. How do I replace the equipment?

    * If you have a technical issue with your equipment (e.g. IRD or Smart Card), please call our Technical Support Hotline (852) 29653155. If your equipment has been determined to be faulty, our authorized installer will make arrangements with you for an inspection or replacement. Customers outside Hong Kong should contact their local dealer.

  13. Can I activate an account online or via email?

    Yes.

  14. Where can I acquire a user manual?

    Each user will receive a copy of the user manual after he subscribe to the service. A user also can download a copy from the website.

  15. How do I remove or change programme?

    Please visit out website or call our 24-hour Customer Hotline at 82081623.

  16. Where can I purchase a remote control, additional receivers, a switch, accessories or other equipment?

    All equipment for the service is available, please call our Technical Support Hotline at (852) 29653155 or visit a retailer near you.
